    Americans Love Science, But Don't Believe In Evolution Or Climate Change

    There seems to be a serious disconnect between the scientific community and the public on the issues of climate change and evolution. 87 percent of scientists polled said that life evolved over time, as opposed to just 32 percent of the non-scientists. Similarly, 84 percent of scientists polled said humans cause climate change, as opposed to 49 percent of the non-scientists polled.

    Vote-Flipping Diebold Machine Quarantined In Colorado

    A county clerk in Colorado has finally done the right thing for the voters by removing a touch-screen voting machine from service, and quarantining it, after it was discovered to be flipping votes from one candidate to another. The failed machine in this case was a Diebold Accu-Vote, a frequent flipper.

    Tool Developed To Detect Fraud In Election Tabulating Software

    Just in time for the elections, the Pima County, Arizona, Election Integrity Committee has developed computer tools to examine election databases created by the Diebold/Premier system. The EI group is offering to examine data from any jurisdiction in the country that uses Diebold's faulty GEMS (Global Election Management System). GEMS will tabulate about half the votes on November 4.

    Election Integrity Experts Descend On New Hampshire

    Election Integrity experts from around the country have been converging on the Granite State over the last several days, in preparation for "historic" state-wide hand counts of New Hampshire's Primary Election ballots, The BRAD BLOG has learned. Counts of votes on both the Democratic and Republican sides will begin in earnest this Wednesday, as long as the two contesting candidates deliver certified checks by 3pm on Tuesday, in amounts determined on Monday by Secretary of State William M. Gardner.

    New Hampshire To Recount Primary Votes

    Just three days after Tuesday’s primary election, the New Hampshire Secretary of State’s office says it will conduct a hand recount of the votes in both the Republican and Democratic primaries starting next Wednesday after receiving formal requests from two candidates this week.
