| The History Channel: Presidential Prophecies

It's a little-known, but fascinating aspect of the Presidency.
Throughout history, numerous US Presidents have claimed to prophesy
through visions. In 1778, George Washington claimed that an apparition
of a woman appeared to him one evening and foretold the birth,
progress, and future of the America. While in office, both Woodrow
Wilson and Ronald Reagan consulted psychics who predicted their deaths.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt consulted a psychic in the last years of his
Presidency about post-WWII world relations. Perhaps the most well-known
Presidential prophecies concern Abraham Lincoln, who participated in
séances and experienced visions -- including an incident that predicted
his assassination. Join us for a Presidential peek at the past.

| A New Theory Of The Universe

"Modern science cannot explain why the laws of physics are exactly
balanced for animal life to exist. For example, if the big bang had
been one-part-in-a billion more powerful, it would have rushed out too
fast for the galaxies to form and for life to begin. If the strong
nuclear force were decreased by two percent, atomic nuclei wouldn’t
hold together. Hydrogen would be the only atom in the universe. If the
gravitational force were decreased, stars (including the sun) would not
ignite. These are just three of more than 200 physical parameters
within the solar system and universe so exact that they cannot be
random. Indeed, the lack of a scientific explanation has allowed these
facts to be hijacked as a defense of intelligent design."
