Hello Everyone!
Is the economy crashing in your part of the world? It is in ours -- and, I might add, in the world of most non-profits. Without being too melodramatic, NHNE's existence -- and, by extension, the very existence of planet Earth -- depends on you. That's right, the constant stream of soul-stirring, mind-tweaking, brain-cell building news and information; the amazing databases; the fantastic videos; the super-charged social networks; the dazzling websites; they all depend on you making some kind of donation, right now. Tomorrow will be too late.
OK, I'm exaggerating. Without your help, NHNE will probably be around to see the sun rise in the morning. But a little Christmas cheer would help but the twinkle back in the holiday season (and also help us keep the bill collectors at bay).
If you feel an irresistible urge to support NHNE (or even a mild one),
here's where you can go to help out.
Need a little more badgering? OK, here's a quick list of some of the things that generous donation you are about to make supports:

NHNE's Wavemaker Database (15,088 Articles and Counting)

And, finally, here's a list of a few Mother Ship web pages that have been created to dynamically track especially important topics:

Here's where to go to experience the joy that comes from supporting a worthy cause.
And that wraps up my main plea for green love this holiday season. While I wait for the PayPal cash registers to start singing "The Halleluiah Chorus", I send all of you my best wishes. I sincerely hope that your minds, hearts, and lives are full of the peace and joy that accompanies this special time of year.
With love, best wishes, and appreciation,
David Sunfellow
P.S. Here's a blast from the past: A quiet, very subtle and
non-dramatic video from NHNE's holiday 2006 fundraiser.
