EDITOR'S COMMENT:

It will come as no surprise to those of you who have studied the kind of predictions made by Blossom Goodchild that the massive spaceship that she predicted would appear over Alabama on October 14th failed to appear. What may come as a surprise is that she made no attempt to cover her prophetic posterior. Instead, she apologized, admitted that she felt embarrassed and humiliated, and said that she would take time to reflect on what went amiss. Making outlandish pie-in-the-sky predictions is not news; owning up to them when they don't come to pass, is. Here's hoping that other well-intentioned, but mistaken, misguided or deluded prophetic figures, will follow her good example...
