la la la, Hate Can Be Great

Honda hates noisy diesel engines.
Honda has created a silent diesel engine, of which it is proud.
Honda has designed
an adorably pretty film
to promote its new baby. Please take a moment to view this film, if you would like to add a smile to your face.
Although I would word it differently, I agree with Honda's premise that hating something may goad you into changing it for the better. This commercial could be used by consciousness-raising organizations as an inspiring reminder that there are a thousand possible ways to get to the top of any mountain.
Now I feel like whistling my way along a flower-bordered path, cheerily thinking of how I can change things that I hate into something beneficial. After you watch this film, you may want to join me there!

Excellent concept indeed, Bonnie. I'm sure not a fan of hate as an emotion, but looking at it as a motivator? Verrry interesting!

I know, Carroll, it's an unusual way of thinking of things. I would be repelled by the concept, except for the fact that Honda went out of their way to make it whimsical and catchy. They clearly used the word Hate in order to grab peoples' attention to draw them into the little story... and trhat's just what it did with me. I thought it was pretty effective, actually.
